How we work

One clinic. A few different ways we meet your kid.

ABA isn't a one-size protocol. Most of the work happens at our Morganville clinic — and we step out into the community or onto a video call when that's what fits best.

Where the work happens

A space built for kids — and the flexibility to step beyond it.

Clinic-based ABA

Direct sessions at our Morganville office. A space designed for kids — with the materials, structure, and consistency that make great teaching possible.

  • 1:1 sessions in a kid-designed clinic environment
  • Distraction-controlled space for focused skill acquisition
  • Built-in opportunities for parent observation and coaching

Community-based

ABA is most useful when it transfers to real life. We extend select sessions into the places kids actually go — playgrounds, libraries, community spaces.

  • Naturalistic teaching in real-world settings
  • Targeted skills for community access
  • Supports for transitions and unexpected change

Telehealth

For parent coaching, consultation, and select programs. Same depth, no commute. Useful when an in-clinic session isn't a fit for the week.

  • Parent training and coaching
  • Caregiver support sessions
  • BCBA consultation between in-clinic sessions
Who we work with

Programs by age and stage.

We tailor based on what your kid is actually working on — not a one-size curriculum.

Early intervention

Programs tailored for kids ages 2–5. Communication, play, daily routines, and the foundation skills that set up everything that follows.

School-age

Support for kids in elementary through middle school. Academic readiness, peer skills, executive function, regulation, self-advocacy.

Parent coaching

Sessions are only as useful as what carries over. We coach parents directly so the strategies that work in session work at home, too.

A typical session

What an hour with us actually looks like.

Every session is individualized — but the rhythm is consistent. Here's the standard arc.

  1. Pairing

    ~10 min

Building rapport. Following the child's lead. Reinforcement comes before any work.

  2. Skill acquisition

    ~25 min

Short, varied teaching opportunities woven through play. Communication, daily living, social, academic — whatever the plan calls for.

  3. Generalization

    ~15 min

Practice in shifting contexts — different toys, settings, prompts. Skills only count when they transfer.

  4. Parent debrief

    ~5 min

What we worked on, what we saw, what to try this week at home. Every session ends with handoff.

BCBA observes ~weekly and meets with families monthly. Every session generates data — we look at it together.

Insurance & access

Most insurance plans cover ABA. We'll help you figure out yours.

ABA is covered by most New Jersey plans — including Medicaid. Plans differ in the details, so before anything is decided, we check exactly what yours covers and what it would cost you. No commitments until you've seen the numbers.

Don't see your plan?

This list isn't everything. Send us a message and we'll check yours before anything's decided.

If insurance doesn't cover it

Limited benefits or no coverage? We'll work out a payment plan that fits your family.

Out-of-network

Even if we're out-of-network for your plan, you may still have benefits that apply. We'll help you sort through them.

Billing

Straightforward billing. No surprises.

We check your benefits before anything is decided, and we'll tell you exactly what's covered, what isn't, and what you'd pay out-of-pocket for a typical week with us.

For most families, ABA is fully covered. If your plan isn't straightforward, we help you sort through it before you commit to anything.
